Tuesday night, my MIL, Russ and I attended the Republican caucus meeting thing (not sure of the official name, obviously) for our precinct and it was so exciting!!! Before this week, I didn't know that meetings of the sort even took place nor did i know that i could participate in said meetings. if you have no clue what i'm talking about, we met with our precinct to vote for our state delegates who would then attend state conventions and vote for which representatives will be on the ballot in November.

I found the debates and conversation amongst our friends and neighbors very amusing. I found the voting process quite interesting, a little bit frustrating, and overall disappointing (only one person I voted for actually won). Bottom line: i was glad i could be part of something, no matter how small.
